I live in Summerfield, and do pit firing. Summerfield is 20min. north of
Greensboro, which is 1.5 hours from Raleigh. You can have a look at my

HI Naomi ... if your in the Asheville area july 20-23 the Southern
Highland Craft Guild is having what I think is the 53rd yr Show at the
Civic Cntr in down town Asheville ..... You'll see many fine potters and
possibly some pit fired work ..... great show to go see at any rate ....
ps I'll be there showing come see me upstairs on concourse .... dont know
my booth # yet as I forgot to send in fee ontime :o/ but look for Cat
Jarosz booth ... hopefully wont be really swamped with folk so we can chat ,
late afternoon is best for chatting with folks but even if you cant do
that stop in anyhow ... maybe hubby will be there to spot me ....

Also in Ashville, try the New Morning Gallery, it's over the Belagio shop in
Biltmore(sic) Village.
