Check out the subway murals. Lots of ceramic mural in the subways. I
think you can even find maps
with their location. There are some near Penn Station. Be sure to stop
by the renovated Grand Central.

I am planning a trip to New York in a couple of months - I've never been
there before and I was wondering if anyone knows of any ceramic studios
there that I can visit? I work primarily with handbuilding abstract forms,
but I am also interested in large scale sculpture and community installation
projects. I would appreciate any information anyone has.
Also, thanks for the information on Hanko it's been very useful - I wanted
to make one of my first name but it doesn't seem to be the "done" thing....
I'll look into it a bit more.
