Good job! You did _very_ well on your first aattempt.

About all I could find to criticize is that you have some underlined
title words, which makes it look like they are links. Not a biggie,
though, and all in all, the pages are well laid out and certainly fast
enough to load.

Yup! That's the best way, bar none, to learn.

Bells and whistles are OK, sometimes, but usually get in the way of what
you are trying to say.

Congratulations!

HI all,
I can't believe it: I've finished my web site and it's UP.

http://www.thistlehillpottery.com/

I did it all myself(including pictures), and made it as fast
loading as possible(meaning thumbnails are fuzzy..) so I'd like
feed back on any problems any of you might encounter looking at
it. It was a long learning curve, learning how to scan, use
Photoshop, use Adobe Pagemill, do the server thing. But it was
fun, and I like that I can update anything I want without paying
someone to do it.. I still have a formatting problem in the text
of the "about the pots" page, but I'll keep working on it. I'd
say doing your own site a great option if you like learning
software and have the time. I didn't use any bells and whistles,
hoping to have as many people as possible look at the site
without glitches. Right now it's mainly for viewing by people
who already have info about me: saw my work somewhere or want
to reorder from out of state. But now I start registering with
search engines....Chapter 2.
Take Care
Jennifer
