I've gleaned a lot of info from the recent posts about the Pacifica
wheel...I got a used 400 model last year for $150, no manual or anything so
I didn't know I need to spray the belt with silicon lubricant. It was
totally quiet when I got it, but now is making a small sound.
I believe my wheel has the old style foot pedal. The pivot point is at the
heel. Has anyone replaced an old style pedal with the new version, and do
you like it better? This one feels like it should have more resistance or
something, also, if I let up on it, it ends up slower than I expected. It's
top speed is fairly slow, maybe I should have the brushes looked at, as
someone mentioned.
Now if they'll make a separate pedal for my left foot when I feel like
reversing direction, I'll be happy! :-)
