Hi Ababi,
How did you get the local reduction? I tried this with silicon
carbide, but nothing happened. Does it need a special firing schedule at
cone ?
Thanks in advance.

Hello veena!
The glaze , I decided to work with Silicon Carbide was a WRONG
interpretation of the20/5 glaze of Tony Hansen which I made while
understood much less than this days. But I love this glaze!
I will give it here with my materials +formula and the way I converted to
American materials. I don't like to have so much feldspar in ^6, but maybe
it will work. Perhaps any of the glaze gurus will prepare it better than me
as not knowing all your row materials. I give the completed recipe, not the
general base which can be nice for different needs.

This glaze gave, in the testing saucers\ bars\ good result inside, nothing
on the outside. wherever it was textural surface the was spots of reduction.
in the test that I added 10 Alumina hydrate to this runny glaze, it was not
matte butt there was better(not nicer)covering of the SiC.I think I will try
to apply some SiC with a brush.

Here for your interest the original runny base that looks nice clear, or
with10-15 zircopax + 1copper carb, and 1 chrome oxide.as it is runny, in a
rounded plat, saucer, the coloring moves to the bottom and shows parts of
the claybody:
