Hello,
I'm hoping that there are a few Michigan Clayarters out there who can =
help me! First of all, does anyone know if it is possible to "rent a =
booth"? When I do shows on the East Coast, I hire someone to build a =
gallery walls booth for me so that I don't have to ship a booth back and =
forth. The company that does this decided not to come to Ann Arbor, so =
I'm stuck. I could drive myself and my booth out (a good 3 days), and I =
may have to, but I'm hoping that someone could suggest some =
alternatives. I need to have solid walls to display my masks. Thanks =
much for any and all suggestions!!!

Hi Peggy,
I do not think you could rent a booth there, but IF you are in the STreet
Fair, they give you the walls and canopy for your booth....at least they have
done so in the past.

I would call some exhibit places in Ann arbor, and some that live there may
helpyou better than me, as i am a virginian! who has been doing the show on
and off since 85.

If i can help you further you may e-mail me off list.

good luck!

Hi Peggy,
I've forwarded your question on to Shary Brown who is the exec. director of
the fair. She is a peach and will help you however she can.
I'm in the fair and also serve on the art fair board under Shary. Best of
luck.
