I'm sorry if I said anything that made you think that camera was $5000 as I
was meaning to refer to the nonlinear editing systems as Pinnacle has and
the professional grade photo 35 mm and medium format film/slide scanners.

Hi! Turns out that the Nikon 990 takes a picture with 3.3 million pixels,
and costs about $1000, not the $5000 you mention in your recent posting.
Other than that, you make a set of very good points. The little cameras
that take 640x480 photos are just perfect for email & the Web, and they
are getting to be truly affordable.
