Have a real good look at the scanner market. there are a lot of =
alternatives from which to choose. I selected one which has facilities =
for copying slides and transparencies. The lid is modified so that it =
acts as a light box. I like to do monchrome with my 35mm cameras. With a =
change bag and a developing tank I can indulge myself without setting up =
a dark room and a buying an enlarger. The results seem to be fair up to =
postcard size from 35mm slides and miniature negatives.
Perhaps fantastic resolution is not needed if items are being posted in =
JPEG format as thumb nail images in web sites.
