It is my bet that David ( Junkyard Dog) Hendley will be wearing a red shirt
and yeller pants or vicey voo. At the very least he will be sporting red
Converse All stars.
I wish I could be there. I think the title of the workshop ( Making your
pots your own) is one that he could address very nicely. I think this very
title is what I addressed in my article on David in Clay Times called
"Seeing Red".
Don't be surprised if the Junkyard Dog doesn't have you making ribs outta
old license plates.
Have a great time at the workshop and feed the man will ya. He is stoking
wood thin.
Cheers,
tony

Tony has it almost right. I'll be wearing a Hawaiian
shirt and red Adidas.
We'll be making beading ribs out of Plexiglas scraps,
not old license plates, but now that I think about
it...what happens to all those old plates?

I've been wondering exactly what I'll do for the workshop,
and I can't really say; it kind of depends on what the
group is interested in. It's a hard subject to cover,
'making your pots your own', because if you do what
the demonstrator does, you are then making his pots,
not yours.
Kind of a catch-22, eh? (a little Canadian lingo for Tony).

If you're in the Dallas area but can't make the workshop
come for the free Friday evening (July 14) slides and talk.
