well, the train kiln gave us wonderful pots. kevin caufield got some
nice racers. all are thrilled, and kurt just smiled...his baby is doing well.

the repairs on the salt kiln held up very well and that is good.
itc is still holding after a big water salt bath.

the gas/electric is a sweetie, and works fine...i am going to make some
adjustments....i think the burner is too big...have to cone down the flame
a bit...or make the hole in the bottom bigger...so will try a cone on the
burner first. of course we cannot give you long term results as we have
only fired it three times...but about 5 hours or so is average with nice
reds and shino. i had three nice teabowls come out..so am happy.

as to joyce...well, as long as i own clayart she will be posted without
doubt. we are not ever going to be clay police...many of us have nice
thoughts and messages that the list will enjoy...if not, find a new list,
or start your own as mary molinaro would say....

if we cannot have some fun, some jokes now and then, well,it would be
a boring list to read. joyce brings a wonderful feeling of new potter, old
principal, and young attitude. she belongs.
