Haven't posted to the list lately but had to encourage all to attend Brian's
musical clay workshop in Salem, OR. He's a colleague of mine at Eckerd
College in FL and a friend. I've seen him at work, teaching, playing music,
composing music, making exquisite clay instruments that are sculpture, also.
He is very gifted and makes learning fun while being very exacting at what he
does. If you have the opportunity to study with him, GO. The mix of clay,
humor, historical pots and music is a wonderful experience. He's a great guy.
You'll enjoy it.
