Hi, I have a paragon computerized kiln and love it EXCEPT that I live in the
lightning capital of the world and have to keep running out to unplug,
schedule firings between thunderclouds, etc. So, if you are going to get
one, invest the $75 or so to have (lost it, it is like a surge protector for
a designated line - your electrical supply place can tell you) a whatever
the thing is called installed on your computer/kiln line. It's a lot
cheaper than racing home from the store, dodging troupers, stumbling over
dogs, etc. to try and save your kiln from a surge/strike. Bic
