Although I didn't ask the
question that began
this thread, I would like to
thank everyone for their
input on this topic. I had
purchased a couple of
sampler packs of Mason
stains and not had much
luck using them. I had=20
mixed the dry powder with
water and brushed on the
bisque ware, then applied
a clear glaze over all. Most
times the Mason stain=20
would not let the clear glaze
cover it. In other words,
I would have these dry
patches showing through
the glaze. Now I know how
to fix the problem.
