Hello,
My name is Kristen Flournoy and I am seeking a unique opportunity beginning
September 2000. I want to combine my passion for the ceramic arts and
traveling with my love of teaching English to those who want to learn.
IDEALLY, I want to travel abroad for a year or so, teach ESL, and work as an
apprentice or studio hand in your studio. My target countries to live in
are Spain, Japan, or Mexico, but I would seriously consider any country.
I am fluent in Spanish and am studying Japanese. I have a BA in Spanish and
Anthropology from IUP and a Design Studio Certificate with clay as my medium
from Parsons School of Design. I am in the process of completing a
yearlong, ten-course program from New School University in New York City to
obtain a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have
taught ESL for the past two years in New York City and Colorado.
To receive more information about my credentials, or myself, please contact
me at kflournoy@coloradocollege.edu or call me at (719) 448-0337.
I look forward to hearing from someone, and please help spread the word for
me.
