One of my former students, Matt Danelly, was accepted at Southwestern =
University in Georgetown, Texas. He will be studying with Patrick =
Veerkamp. For the last year he has been the resident potter at Old City =
Park a historic village near downtown Dallas, Texas where he has made =
period pottery and fired the groundhog kiln. =20
In addition to his work at the park, Matt and I constructed a wood kiln =
at his home in rural Dallas county. It is based on the design Dick =
Lehman described in his article in Ceramics Technical. Matt is firing =
the kiln one last time before he moves to the Austin area in a couple of =
weeks. =20
The kiln is for sale. There are over 2000 brick and various other =
materials such as shelves, fiber, clay etc., He would like to sell it =
