I too had a problem with firings that would take longer than normal. My
husband bought me a volt meter from Radio Shack. Just plug it into any
electrical outlet. It will indicate the voltage. If it is lower than normal
and the kiln takes longer to fire you know the culprit. Mia in hot ABQ
