I've had a Thomas Stuart electric wheel for seveal years. It's built
like a truck. I love it. Everything about this wheel is QUALITY.
They are great people to deal with. When I had a technical question, the
owner of the company contacted me to make sure that I had all the
information that I needed (no I don't work for Thomas Stuart, I'm a cop
by day, potter at night).

Does anyone know of Thomas Stuart brand wheels? How
is the reputation? Has anyone ever used one? Etc.

I learned to throw on a Thomas Stuart. Good solid wheel, will last forever, heavy
enough that it will probably stay in one spot as long as you have it :-)

by the shore of Lake Michigan, where I had to take the dog for a ride to get the
racoon to move down off the door lintel. It seems the Mojave is not the only place
to see wildlife up close.

Yes, I just received my TS kickwheel - easy to put together, the price
is right, and I like it fine. Don't know much about the motorized,
except that the belt turns the flywheel, not the shaft, if that matters
to you. Hope this helps! -Erika

I have a Thomas Stuart kick wheel and I have been very happy with it but I
would have gotten a 'Lockerbie' kick wheel as I like the heaver feel of
those better (but what can you say, if the price is right...you have the
money at the moment....need a wheel...). I do have a tractor seat in place
of the one that came with the TS wheel for comfort reasons (let's face it,
any length of time spent on those bench seats makes your posterior and legs
go numb). Kimi
