i just want to thank everyone who responded
to my glaze water question. i've decided to
do what the majority suggested, and that is
to use tap water. i checked the well test
we'd had done: our water has a hardness of
40 and there's less than 0.1 mg. of iron per
litre. hopefully this is low enough not to
affect the glazes on porcelain.
unfortunately, i don't have control over when
i fire so it will be about three weeks till i
know the results.
