Are you sure you really want to use this old low-fire
red glaze? I would not unless I knew EXACTLY what was
in it... Red usually meant a high cadmium content up to
a few years ago.
So before you hammer the solid matter into chunks,
grind them with a mortar and pestle, then mix slowly in
water, I would really think twice about using it at
all.
Just my tuppence worth :-)
