Dear Brad,
don't change breakers arbitrarily you must keep them matched to the amperage
of the kiln plus about 10 percent or the next breaker size. you can have a
wiring problem of either a too small capacity wire or the attachments may
be incorrect and need to be down property. i strongly recommend getting a
master electrician evaluate this if you are not well versed as i have seem
some nasty fires of this sort. please do not continue firing until you get to
the root of this problem.
