I use one of these with the back rest. I have to add another
cylindrical cushion to fill in the lumbar area. So the back rest isn't
the best part of the stool for me. However, I do like being able to
raise and lower the seat level (up for centering; down for the other
wheel work), and I do like the comfort of the saddle seat and I find the
entire chair stable and strong. The seat rotates too, so I can get up
with minimal pushing back of the chair, which I use right up close to
the wheel table.
