I have had such trouble with the Sapphire that I've been corresponding with
Ron Roy for help. Yes, it will run, yes, it can be stunning or not so
depending upon the thickness of application, the type of kaolin used, where
it is in the kiln, where it is on the shelf in the kiln, if the moon is in
it's fullest phase...
I'd suggest a simpler blue to start with, like Nancy List's Glossy Cobalt
Blue, or maybe Chappell's Glossy Blue. If you don't have these recipes &
can't find them in the archives, let me know & I'll dig them out for you.
