Dear Aiko,
Thank you for being a thoughtful resource and cultural conduit. The
pottery of Toshio Makino is quit wonderful. I had the pleasure of
visiting Shigaraki when I was in graduate school and was greatly
influenced by the energy of the style and the warmth of the community. I
hope the artist updates the gallery frequently. I plan to visit often.
