Here is a young Kyoto potter's page
If you look carefully, you can see a man figure looking into cup and pot.
The design originated
in China but his family kiln adopted it as their
mark also.

In Japan, those blue and white porcelains are
loved and used daily as much as the rustic yakishime pots. Send him a note
if you want ask
anything. His name is Shinji Takeuchi.
He was the kind potter who invited Roger Baumman's group to his studio.

Aiko in DC, being happy having talked with my mother and nephew.
He pointed to me to say "Konnichiwa(Good day)"
when he said "Konbannwa(Good evening)". We have 13 hours time difference.
It would be morning there when I call in the evening.
