Dear Paul,

I really liked your web site and can't imagine ever getting ours done.
My partner and I can't seem to get together on it.

I really liked the pale yellow. Especially liked your pitchers. You
were talking about your "yard pots" - planters - being so expensive that
you keep them. If I'm not being out of line, how much do you charge?
Maybe you just THINK you are asking too much, maybe you aren't asking
enough or giving them enough time before your patrons.

Thanks for sharing,

Dear All

The money has been put where the mouth is -the webb site is constructed
and hereby launched. http://www.anu.ie/westportpottery/

It is far from perfect. This is my busiest time so I shall leave the
imperfections, and the site would not be me with out them - a few spelling
mistakes and some of the link colors are not as I intended.

I had some help from friends but It has still taken eighteen months to
lean how to use the computer then the software for image manipulation then
take photographs and take them again because I botched the first lot up,
then the webb building program had to be mastered and the thing downloaded
onto the site.

The work is not over now I have to kick start the search engines.

The site consists of all aspects of the work and a virtual exhibition of
patio planters which have to be salt glazed if I make any more.

Also a section as a reminder to friends and colleagues how good and bad
things were in the past entitled Mes enfants terrible.

And a posting for my students - no more "I was absent for the brief"

I learnt to build the site myself because I hope to use it in a dynamic way
and discuss the visual aspects of pottery with you all - virus free.

Also I hope to use the site as a more convenient location for my customers
to visit, since I live far from a small town in the north west corner of
Europe.

Well now that I am found out.

If any body wants to comment or discus an aspect of the site especially the
design please do. I will try to be courageous enough to discuss the
comments objectively.

Constructive crit from a viewer:

Excellent web site.
Excellent.
Clean design (thank God, we hunger for clean design).
Great photography.
Perfect way to display work.

The simplicity of this web site
can be a lesson to anybody who
tends to get too rococo with
their design. I love the
spacious feel of this site.
Great job.

Very Nice! No worries about having to defend it.

Paul,
Thanks for a great viewing. I visited your website tonight, and
really enjoyed my visit. It is such a pleasure to view the websites of
Clayarters, who do such great work, and it is especially wonderful to be
able to "visit" even from afar. It was a treat.
Good luck with the site. I am sure you will get many compliments. I
enjoyed the simplicity and the ease with which I could look at your pieces.
All the best.
Veena
