What you are looking for is the solution to a two part problem. You need
both instant grab and durable strength.
If you use a good quality ceramic adhesive [ or whatever is working OK
now] but at the last instant, apply two or three dabs of HOT MELT GLUE
on spaces left free of adhesive, the Hot Melt will grab instantly and
when your ceramic adhesive cures you will heve durability. Hope this
