Does anyone have a ^6 translucent honey-amber glaze they would like to
share? Would like to use it on dinnerware in conjunction with blue and
white. Didn't find much in the archives. TIA

Try this one:
cone 6ox Transparent Expansion 7.22 The 5.44 silica/alumina ratio would make
this a buttery surface. This is a glaze I recently reformulated for a friend,
but it is untested as yet. I think the original, if memory serve me, worked
well with engobes and oxide washes.
8 Silica
46 F-4 Soda Spar
10 Spodumene
12 EPK
10 Dolomite
10 Gerstley Borate
4 Zinc Oxide
Add: Rutile 2.55, Manganese dioxide 1%, Titanium Dioxide 1%
This will give a light tone. You may want to try a deeper version with 4-6%
rutile and maybe 2% Manganese dioxide and keep the Titanium the same.
