I have been "listening in" on Clay Art for some months now and I must say,
it has greatly influenced the way my students will function in this new
year.

Though I have only hundreds of dollars per year to spend, (compared to the
big budgets some of ya'll have) I have learned so much through listening to
Mel and the gang. I have no proximity to potters on a regular basis, and
rely a lot on books for ideas. Some of the money-savers will make a huge
difference in our work. We have a few dozen new things to try this year, and
the novices with love it (you can tell it's a Catholic school, eh?)

Anyway, just many thanks for all the information. Folks on my 2-d list are
just as knowledgeable, but it seems they are less interested in stretching a
dollar a country mile. Thanks!!!

Diane,

If you are an art teacher, you simply MUST get on the ArtsEdNet Talk list
hosted by the Getty Foundation. There are well over 100 art teachers on the
list, some from Canada and other countries, swapping ideas, lesson plans,
loves, gripes, etc. It's like Clayart only for art teachers. www.getty.edu
