Tatsuzo Shimaoka, Mashiko potter, and Living National Treasure of Japan,
will be having a retrospective exhibition at the Mingei International
Museum, in San Diego, California, from September 1st through February
4th, 2000. Member's reception is from 5:00 to 7:00 on Friday evening,
September 1st, followed by an Artist's commentary and video presentation.
