After reading all the kind answers to my original question I have another.
Will any thermocouple I order work on the Skutt Controller? I went to Axners
web site and they show thermocouples, but do not specifically mention Skutt.
I went to Skutt's site and they don't have any info on that. HELP!!!!.... and

Hi Bobbi, try calling Skutt at (503) 774-6000, give then the model number and
I think the volts 240 or 208 and they will give a price for the thermocouple
[ask for the less expensive one if that is your choice] I don't get that many
firings out of the more expensive one cause of the hard firing and high holds
I use in crystalline glazes, but have heard only good things about the life
time of the more expensive one. Dave

when you order your thermocouple just tell what kiln you need it for and
they will help you get the right one. most suppliers are more then willing
to help you in any way they can. if axners don't have what you need they can
help find out where to get it. don't be afraid to ask. Josie
