workshop disasters - too close for comfort

I am sending this post from a hotel as I happily leave behind the most
bizarre workshop I have ever attended.
The only lesson the Center provided was never to go there again.
Luckily, our teacher was excellent. With little support from the
facility, she provided us with a ton of knowledge and an excellent grasp of
her methods.

I expect to be able to laugh about all this very soon.

Um...Chris,

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but it would be helpful if you'd tell
the rest of us WHERE this center is, so we don't go there too. ;) (Thanks)

To all -

I have had several queries as to where the workshop was and what
happened.

First, and foremost - I always sign my posts as "Chris Campbell - in
North Carolina" - the workshop was NOT in North Carolina.

Before I mention the Center and give details, I will give myself a few
days to chill out and evaluate what happened. I don't think the Peters Valley
people deserve the degree of venom some people are spouting, so I will think
first then answer later.

chris,

excellent idea -- the original draft of
my post did NOT name PV. it was a last minute
change just before the mail was sent (comments
from friends supplied the motivation). not
an excuse -- i take responsibility and
the back lash that goes with it. my intention
was not to hurt the Valley reputation. it was
geered to the management's handling of this
matter -- and i hope that is who hears the
message, not potential PV workshop goers.
it's a great place, it really is.

anyway, my suggestion is to let those who want
to know in personal emails, not clayart.

ps.
>the person who wrote in wasn't even affected by it.

not true lois, i had stuff blown up and melted onto --
everybody had stuff affected.
