Gene,
It will help folks help you if you will include the glaze recipe when you
ask a question about a specific glaze. There are many experts here who are
great at helping, but they need basic information first.
Cobalt is a strong colorant. Not knowing the recipe, but knowing that about
cobalt, I'd say you'll probably get a fairly strong blue with 1% Cobalt,
especially if you use cobalt OXIDE instead of Carbonate.
I am in Summerfield, which is near Greensboro; where are you? We've had so
much rain my 5gal buckets are standing full, and the wheelbarrow has been
dumped TWICE.
