Hi ,
Just came back from the George Ohr show. 35 pieces rangeing in size from
4" to 12". He made very thin pots! The lips were about 1/8" thick, which
explains the wonderful twist/ripple effect. Odd thing about the pots was
that there was a piece of blue cloth in the bottom of every pot that I
could see into. Makes you wonder what they were hiding?There will be a
panel discussion on sept 24th 2:00 - 4:00 pm in the Danforth Lecture
Hall - Art 120. Ron Nagle Professor of Art at Mills, Garth Clark, and
Eugene Hecht - Martin Shack ( authors of "The Mad Potter Of Biloxi ")

Where is the Ohr show? Was there a slide set available for purchase?
