Know were to mine formica in it's native state? Rolling up is important
to me in a small space.

FYI, this material is made from melamine and phenolic plastics,
bobnded together under high pressure and some heat. It has been around for
quite some years. Not sure if the original company, Formica Corporation,
still exists under that name. But try surfing for it.

Whey ey bonnie lad,
Thirty years or so ago it was manufactured, not mined, on the north side =
of the Bonnie Tyne on the other side of that brisk North Sea from you. =
There were two Competitive factories on opposite sides of the main road =
from Newcastle to North Shields. One made Formica, the other Arbourite. =
Both are I believe, Kraft Paper, impregnated with melamine.
Best local sources will be builders merchants.
