pots.... bowls vases that sort of stuff? Ivor in Macclesfield UK

Yes Ivor, they have. The big problem is getting a good 3D design program =
at a reasonable price. Suggest you look for Computer Arts Magazine on =
the shelves at W. H. Smith. From time to time they have 30 day licences =
on their feature CD. You need a generator to make the forms and a =
renderer to do the decoration. And when you get hooked, access to vaults =
in Treadneedle Street.

All the best,

Ivor in Redhill, South Australia

Having the programs at my house is not the problem, my husband is a 3D animator, so I have my pick. But most of us don't have a computer that has the capiblilities of running one of these programs. Also, learning them. They are not like a paint programs. My hub spends weeks at classes when new ones come out, and he has a BFA in it. Like learning pottery, 3D work is not
something you just pick up. It takes work. And I need to spend more time on the wheel then on this damn computer. chris@ccpots

Ivors
How about Virtual Reality in Ceramic Design?
Want to feel & touch the pots you're drawing on the screen?
Spring copy of "Global Ceramic Review" has an article.
