I'm looking for the recipie for Cardew iron overglaze, I think its iron
and ball clay but I don't know the percentages. Anyone know?
Also looking for a nice liner for earthenware that I'm going to take to
about cone 2.
Thanks.

Joe, if you're talking about the recipe in _Pioneer Pottery_ it's 80% iron
oxide and 20% "plastic red-firing clay."

Ray:
I have been using an "on-glaze" for years that I thought came from that
source. It is quite beautiful but only effective at ^9-11 and likes to be
the consistency of 10% cream. Good luck.
