Had Ian Currie visiting with us last week.............one of the days we
enjoyed a marvelous garden soir=E9e, or "Currie Party", at which he served
his Divine Nut Loaf recipe from the latest book; and fielded great
questions about our assessment tiles and other glazework. Hasten to mention
that his books are now available at his WEBSITE postpaid, individually or
at group discount:

"Revealing Glazes
Using the Grid Method"
and
"Stoneware Glazes - A Systematic Approach"
Purchase by credit card from the web site:
http://ian.currie.to/
Delivery about 1 week
e-mail - ian@currie.to

I should mention that several of my pots and glazes are published
in "Revealing Glazes", so this is a fervent AND Quite Partial
recommendation. Hank in Eugene

We still have room in our Ian Currie Glaze
Workshop. If you are in the Eastern Pennsylvania
or New Jersey area and are interested in
understanding glazes without chemistry and
discovering new glazes this is the workshop
for you. Date Sept. 23-24 just off
I-78 15 minutes from the Delaware river in
Coopersburg PA. That is 10 minutes below
Bethlehem and or east of Quakertown in a
beautiful setting of the rolling hills and
farms of northern Bucks County. Times for
each day, sat. 9:30 till around 5:00 and
Sunday 10:00 till 4:30. If you are interested
you may contact DeLana Hornbeck by email for
additional information on needed materials,
costs and directions at delh@enter.net ...or me at
slathrop@binney-smith.com ...
