The beauty, majesty, scale, power, etc., etc., of nature
has inspired some of the greatest art, music, and literature
of all time.
Obviously.
That's the point of my comment yesterday: don't dwell on
it in your 'Artist's Statement'. It's so obvious and over-used
it's become trite (at least to me).
I feel the same way about 'Don't Worry, Be Happy': fabulous
song, new and fresh, out of left field.
After hearing it hourly on the radio for 4 months, however,
the opening strains would send me reaching for the radio dial.
(This is on my mind because, after not hearing the song for
several years, I heard it today, and could once again enjoy it).
Think of a new angle, a new way to say it, if the inspiration
of nature is very important to you.
