Read through all the dremel tool posts and noticed nobody mentioned that
you can get this foxy little drill press to use your Dremel tool with. Now
we got ours through Dremel.....bad choice, get it for less and mucho faster
through Home Depot. You can order anything Dremel-related through Home
Depot for less than direct. They had the drill press in stock I noticed
after I waited 2 months for mine.
We use the press with a water-bath set up for drilling glass. But I use
the tool constantly in the studio for small jobs. Also nice for etching my
signature on the bottom of a pot if I forgot......actually with some pots I
have found that to be the signature of choice.....go for the subtlety.....

Eleanora,
how do you set up a water bath, I had been taught to make a dam with putty and
fill it with water or light oil.

the best place to get the drill press is with a boat load of other stuff at a yard
sale, I got my flexi tool, the drill press, and a lot of other jewelry making
equipment, and a lot of sheet silver. I have gotten most of my tools that way,
really good ones for not that much. the yard sale goddess ranks right up there
with the kiln gods in our house.
