Can anyone suggest a Clear ^10 reduction glaze that will work on stoneware
and porcelain?

The Greater Lansing Potters' Guild uses "Alfred clear" for
stoneware, white stoneware, and porcelain. If folks are interested in
the recipe, I'll post it. I suspect its' been around a while.....

I got this glaze formula about ten years ago at a workshop and have used it
for almost everything ever since. You can fire it ^8 to ^12 in reduction or
oxidation, you can use stains and oxides over or under it , it combines
well with other glazes, it's very stable I've never had it even think about
running, I've also added stains and oxides to it for different colors. It
works as well on porcelain as stoneware. Reeves Limestone, Custer
Feldspare 27 . Ball Clay 14 . Whiting 20.5 . Flint 31.5
.. EPK 7 . Bentonite 2 . I use bottled water to mix this and all my
glazes because I did have a problem when I moved with this glaze, after I
started useing bottle water no more problem. Josie
