This isn't much advance notice, and I appologize for that. This Saturday
(September 23) we will be having a bowlathon to throw bowls for the Habitat
for Humanity Empty Bowls event which takes place in Cookeville TN in late
October. We generally make between 700 and 800 bowls in one day, and it is
a great deal of fun. If you are within driving distance of Smithville TN
(60 miles east of Nashville on I-40 take Smithville exit #273, seven miles
south on highway 56) come and join us for the day, to throw, wedge, carry
bowls out into the sun, watch, cheer, laugh, talk.
