Dear Paul,

I have some indications about Seger cones. I think you use Orton cones.
Orton cone 03 is almost an equivalent to Seger cone 01a.
The Seger cones range from 08a to 6a (including cone 01a) are made with =
these components :

1) A frit made with :
(Seger formula)
Na2O =3D 0.5
CaO =3D 0.5
Al2O3 =3D 0.2
SiO2 =3D 2
B2O3 =3D 1
2) Kaolin
3) Quartz
4) Feldspath
5) Magnesium carbonate (giobertite, magnesite)

I haven't the ratios now, but I hope to have soon more precisions.
Later.

Cordialement, Smart
