I'll be glazing large vessels soon and thought I'd get some input of glazing
techniques. The forms are 24 inch hand built cylinder shapes. Entire inside
glazed and about the upper third of the vase glazed on the outside.
One problem I run into is the interior glaze crack and peel within minutes
of glazing the outside. I've added CMC and/or Arabic Gum this helps a bit.
What's the concessus out there, should I allow the inside glaze to dry
overnight or even 24 hours before glazing the inside?
