Beverly and Marie: Good for you and congrats! Good for all of us! I
heard today
that 2 of my sculptures (with lichen glazes, naturally) will be in
the book: page 13 and p 121. A nice piece of news at the moment.

A while back some one (sorry don't recall who) wondered if any one had work
accepted into the upcoming Lark book on ceramic sculpture. Well, I got my
notification today, and yes, I'm in! It took them a long time to decide on
this one. Best of luck to every one else,

How do you submit your work for consideration? Are you somehow notified that they
are accepting ssubmissions, or do you send slides/pictures of your work "cold"? I
just bought a great book on ceramic design, and someone I used to work with had a
piece featured. I was so excited! So now I want to know....!
thanks,
Diane in CT, and I'm out of my rut and making wonderful big teapots after making
tons of tiny ones at mel's suggestion. Working really small I think has improved
my larger forms. Thanks, mel!

Diane,
if you go to the lark books website www.larkbooks.com
there is a link for artist submissions, and there you will see what they are
looking for and the info and deadlines.
does anyone know of other publishing co.'s that also list submissions? i am
sure others do it as well.
