Hello all,

makes me feel better that other reasearchers make sense.

1-TITLE: Manganese exposures in Toronto during use of the gasoline additi=
ve,
methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl [In Process Citation]
AUTHORS: Crump KS AUTHOR AFFILIATION: ICF Consulting, Ruston, Louisiana

SOURCE: J Expo Anal Environ Epidemiol 2000 May-Jun;10(3):227-39
[MEDLINE record in process]
CITATION IDS: PMID: 10910116 UI: 20365471
(......)
Taken together, these facts (elimination of participants with Mn exposure
from known non-MMT sources reduced average exposures by 40%, the existenc=
e
of multiple non-MMT sources of the remaining Mn exposure, and the negativ=
e
correlation between MMT usage and PM2.5 Mn) suggest that the preponderanc=
e
of personal Mn exposure was from non-MMT sources.

2-TITLE: Airborne manganese particulates and methylcyclopentadienyl
manganese tricarbonyl (MMT) at selected outdoor sites in Montreal.
AUTHORS: Zayed J; Thibault C; Gareau L; Kennedy
AUTHOR AFFILIATION: Departement de medecine du travail et d=92hygiene du
milieu, Faculte de medecine, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
zayedj@erc.umontreal.caSOURCE: Neurotoxicology 1999 Apr-Jun;20(2-3):151-7
CITATION IDS: PMID: 10385879 UI: 99313657

The overall results show a lack of potential exposure to MMT and substant=
ial
concentrations of MnR near an expressway.
