Of course it is not the court's honesty that is in question. The courts did
what they had to do under NAFTA. The problem is that most of us didn't
foresee all the ways NAFTA would be used to circumvent environmental laws.
The same kinds of cases are going on in Europe where the US is using similar
agreements with them to force Europeans to accept unlabeled genetically
altered crops and irradiated foods.

Welllll, the bad guys are industry that wants to force us to be exposed to
substances that are not fully tested and they are using the good guys, the
courts and us, to do it.

A couple of decades ago people probably said that there was insufficient
evidence about lead gasoline. That made a big "So what." We need to learn
from these errors instead of repeating them.
