Hello everyone-
As one who was part ofthe NY art scene in the
early 70's, where we painted a brown square bordered
by a red square and issued a 15 page manifesto, i have
read with interest the ongoing dialog about our
identity as potters.
those years are long gone, and had i really
understood them, i would be rich now. These days, my
outlook as far as who i am as a potter can be summed
up thusly:
Are you happy with the pots you are making? If
not, keep working... go no farther.
If so, go no farther.
