Please has anyone come across images of ball
clay production in the UK? A request from a
potter in Tinos, Greece came via the German clay
art list for pictures accessible via the
internet.

I have had no luck, but am not very patient at
searching... I do not know why he asked for the
UK especially, but maybe there is more available
on US ball clay resources?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I would suggest a direct contact with either Watts Blake & Bearne in
Newton Abbott, Devon. or English China Clays in St. Austell Cornwall
with reference to pictorial history might be fruitful. their websites
are not concerned with History.
