Since so many have asked about the uses of PV Clay, I think this celadon
thread is a good time to mention that PV Clay is a wonderful souce of
silica which contains small amounts of alumina and KNa as well. I mine a
deposit in Canada which is very similar to PV clay, and which yields a
gorgeous celadon with small additions of talc and wollastonite. BTW, in my
experience, wollastonite gives better blues than straight calcium. Try PV
Clay!
