I just wanted to say that I really appreciated that explanation. I knew a
little, but this was so clear and detailed. Lots of us that are new to
pottery sometimes miss some stuff that the "pros" , even those who teach and
write books, sometimes assume is common knowledge.

Lots of us who are long in the tooth in pottery miss out on what is true.
Don't believe everything you see on this net. Many potters are still
learning and they don't necessarly know all the facts. The best way to find
out answers it to take all suggestions with a grain of salt and then try them
out for your self.

Please, I'm a new member and I think I missed the explanation. May I have
it again? I'm really interested in.

Thank you a lot,
Ana Schindler.
